The idea for this artwork came up when i was reading a book about Vincent van Gogh. For this cyclingartwork i am inspired by the Pointillism paintings of Vincent van Gogh. I really love that stripy way of painting.
This Cycle artwork is 60 cm. It’s pointillism cyclingchain style! I have been painting with the chains, so to say. Each link represents a brushstroke. Lovely curves, different types and brands of bikechains. Different colors. It’s really special. One of a kind in the world!
Het idee voor dit kunstwerk ontstond toen ik een boek aan het lezen was over Vincent van Gogh. Voor dit wielerkunstwerk heb ik mij laten inspireren door de pointillistische schilderijen van Vincent van Gogh. Ik hou echt van die gestreepte manier van schilderen. Dit fietskunstwerk is 60 cm. Het is pointillistische fietskettingstijl! Ik heb als het ware met de kettingen geschilderd. Elke link vertegenwoordigt een penseelstreek. Mooie rondingen, verschillende soorten en merken fietskettingen. Verschillende kleuren. Het is echt speciaal. Uniek in de wereld!
