When i was walking aroud in my town i saw someone throwing away some old metal tools. I told him i was a upcyle artist and asked him if i could have the old tools to create a new artwork. This is the story behind the materials of my creation The Iron Eagle. I really love the mountains and it’s wildlife. Especially the eagles. They are the kings of the sky. It’s Animalized from a old axe and tree pickaxes (one made in 1942, from the Allied forces in world war two). The dimensions are : wingspread 90 cm, 47 cm tall and 30 cm wide. On the back i welded the “H” of Hubert van Soest, my signature.
