Deze sculptuur van een tijdrijder, of fietser die krom gebogen tegen de wind in rijd, bestaat helemaal uit oude tandwielen. Het lijf heeft bij de schouders en het bekken een twist gekregen om deze scharnierpunten in het menselijk lichaam te benadrukken. Voor de basis waarop het kunstwerk vastgelast is heb ik een oud schanier gebruikt. Als het kunstwerk op een plaat vlak neergezet word lijkt het of de renner naar beneden rijd. This sculpture of a time trialist, or cyclist who rides proned against the wind, consists entirely of old sprockets. The body has been given a twist at the shoulders and pelvis to emphasize these pivot points in the human body. I used an old hinge for the base on which the artwork is welded.
